Momtemplative: I've used words to get closer to the truth for as long as I can remember. To dig beneath the anxiety, to fold the laundry of the mind, to dim the lights so I can rest at night and to clear the air so that I may genuinely connect with others. The overlapping landscapes of life— parenthood, marriage, friendships, my personal faith, my relationship with my body, working as a massage therapist to those with Alzheimers and dementia, and being an active part of the foster care community—provide an endless stream of material to explore.
